Locks
In order to ensure that locks are of sufficient quality as well as our ability to help students who forget their combination and access a student locker if/when necessary, students need to use a school-supplied lock for which parents pay a $10 deposit when your child first starts at Arbutus. Missing locks must be replaced for another $10 deposit. If the lock is returned in good condition when your child leaves Arbutus, the lock deposit is refundable by parent request; if no refund is requested, these funds are put toward maintaining school equipment and other related expenses for the benefit of our school community-at-large and subsidizing fieldtrip costs for students-in-need.
Attached are the suggested school supplies for students in grades six, seven and eight for the 2024-2025 school year.
